Q: Do you cater to cash-only physician practices?
A: Yes.
Q: What makes your product different from all the other EMR/PM systems on the market?
A: OmniMD understands that “one size fits all” EMR created a high rate of discontent among physicians. OmniMD has developed specialty specific EMR solutions which automates the workflow for specialty practices such as (Cardiology, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urgent Care, Urology, etc.) by providing a comprehensive and quick data-capturing system, based on a platform that provides customizable data analytics and reporting which is developed with guidance from our physician employees and advisory board members.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Patient Portal:
Q: Include e-prescribing and labs? If so, which vendors do you use/extra fees?
A: OmniMD has a Surescripts 2013 White Coat of Quality Award & EHNAC e-Prescribing of Controlled Substances Certificate for e-prescribing. There is no extra cost for e-prescribing. OmniMD provides bidirectional lab interfaces between clinics and various Labs like Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, Sheil Medical Laboratory, Dynacare Laboratories, Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Accupath Diagnostic Laboratories or any local laboratory. Cost for these interfaces is paid by Laboratory to OmniMD.
Q: Work with Dragon/other speech recognition software?
A: Yes.
Q: Available as true white label, with no URL directs away from my website? Fees?
A: OmniMD has an integrated Patient Portal which can be linked to clinic’s website. Patient information goes directly from the patient portal to the OmniMD EMR, no extra cost.
Q: Can the patient request appointment times from my calendar?
A: Yes.
Q: Offer appointment reminders via email/text?
A: The Patient Reminder Module is an automated voice technology system that calls and plays a message to remind the patient about an upcoming appointment, and captures the patient’s response.
Q: Can the patient choose which types of alerts they want to opt into/out of?
A: Yes.
Q: Can the patient enter their own allergies and current medications?
A: Yes.
Q: Offer customizable forms and document upload capability?
A: OmniMD offer customized forms in the EMR, which would be available to patients through the patient portal or medical kiosk.
Q: Message/ticket system for question exchange?
A: Yes.
Q: Offer legal consent forms with e-signature capability?
A: Patient can electronically sign through the patient portal. e-signature on consent forms can be done through electronic signature pad within the medical kiosk in the waiting room area of clinic.

A: At present OmniMD EMR has faxing capabilities and patients can send/receive secured messages from their patient portal.
Practice Management (PM):
Q: Can patients self-pay online via credit card in their patient portal?
A: No, coming soon.
Q: If so, which merchant processor do you use, and what are their fees?
A: We have some clients using Authorize.Net at present.
Q: Are the patients provided with an invoice with CPT codes?
A: Yes.

Q: Is it cloud based and mobile-responsive?
A: Yes.
Q: What format is used to export patient information into another system?
A: .CSV format
Q: How often is my information backed up/How many servers do you have?
A: Patient data is backed up regularly. We have 30+ servers.
Q: What support will I have/extra fees?
A: OmniMD offers 24/7 support through phone as well as e-mail. Our regular time is 7 AM EST to 8 PM EST; however for any after hour supports we have answering service available to escalate clients contact information and issues to the OmniMD support team which get back to clients on timely basis. There are no extra fees for support.
Pricing:
Q: What is your monthly fee?
A: $450/mo for EMR + PM ($350/mo per provider for EMR only). Free EMR with Billing Services at 5.5% on collections.
Q: What is your initial setup/implementation fee?
A: $1,500 for one day of implementation and two days of training (estimation for a solo provider and 4 staff user EMR setup and training). Free implementation and training with Billing Services.
Q: Do you require a contract/how long?
A: Yes, one year.
Q: What is the cost of adding additional physicians at a later date?
A: Per month provider cost would be in accordance to the contract, however any part-time provider would be charged half license (i.e. 50% discounted cost).
Q: Are there any other fees for any other services/functions that I have not asked about?
A: The drug database, which is mandatory for e-prescribing, is $25/mo per provider. Electronic Claim Submission/Electronic Remittance Advise, which is mandatory with Practice Management, is $75/mo per provider.
