Q: Do you cater to cash-only physician practices?
A: We do cater to both cash only and practices that accept insurance.
Q: What makes your product different from all the other EMR/PM systems on the market?
A: Our product is amazingly affordable, user-friendly and easy to learn.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Patient Portal:
Q: Include e-prescribing and labs? If so, which vendors do you use/extra fees?
A: E-prescribing is included in the price of our ‘Guardian Angel’ support. We are currently using Surescripts along with Newcrop to support our e-prescribing. We interface with a large list of labs. Right now the cost of interface is a one time fee of $750 as long as you are signed up with ‘Guardian Angel’ support, but many labs will pay this fee to retain your services.
Q: Work with Dragon/other speech recognition software?
A: It certainly does work with Dragon. We actually offer a package deal with Dragon and a program called Noteswift for $1,599.
Practice Management (PM):
Q: Can patients self-pay online via credit card in their patient portal?
A: We currently offer a no-fee option to sync with Updox (they have fees). We are currently developing our own Patient Portal that will be available with our MU2 certification in Summer 2014.
Q: Is it cloud based and mobile-responsive?
A: We do have a cloud service available and we are mobile responsive through a third party app. The cost for the cloud based server is $39/mo per user plus the yearly $1,195 fee that you need to have Guardian Angel support.
Q: What format is used to export patient information into another system?
A: You would need to purchase an interface to export patient information into another system.
Q: How often is my information backed up/How many servers do you have?
A: If you are using our ‘offsite backup’ ($250/year per practice), information is configured to backup daily to our server. With the client server model or our cloud based server, we handle the backups for you either locally or as part of the cloud. We have multiple locations throughout our hosting company.
Q: What support will I have/extra fees?
A: The first year of Guardian Angel support is included with your initial purchase. If you choose to continue your Guardian Angel support (which I strongly suggest) it is $1,195 annually.
Q: What is your price?
A: There is a one time fee of $2,395. How that works out is $1200 for the license for Amazing Charts and $1,195 for our Guardian Angel support. If you wished to continue Guardian Support which consists of all product updates and enhancements, e-prescribing, interaction checking and essentially everything else, it’s just $1,195 per year going forward.
Q: What is the cost of adding additional physicians at a later date?
A: The cost for additional providers would be the same, $2,395.
Q: Any features currently in development that will be added soon?
A: The integrated Patient Portal is in development as well as Meaningful Use stage 2 compliance.
